Week 4 - learning to eat on our own: April 1 - 7, 2007

Early spring at HiTrails was full of surprises.
5 April, 2007 and we have several inches of new snow! Where did all the flowers go?

Flying Saucer Meals

We now eat together from our "flying saucer" dish -
after just a few "personal" training sessions.
We still appreciate nursing, but this gruel is really great and mom just cannot keep up with our growing appetite!
HiTrails Puppy Food Formula #1

1/2 cup ground kibble - Timberwolf Organics: Lamb and Apples
3 Tbs. Esbilac powder
1 jar lamb, chicken, or turkey baby food [Beechnut - has no additives]
3/4 cup liquid heated [combination of water, homemade chicken broth, goat's milk]
