Puppies Arrive!

Finally . . . we have puppies!

CH KrisMyth Command Performance ("Jordy") x Am/Can CH Countrydream's Jet Flash, CGC ("Crysta")

announce the arrival of their new little pups -- 4 buff girls, 2 buff boys, and one red boy. ASC Futurity Nominated - Jan. 2003!

Friday afternoon, March 15th, things started to happen around 2 PM, and at 4 PM we had our first buff dog - breach! He was a little difficult for mom to push out, but he came into the world totally in his little sack and Crysta went to work as one would expect of a more experienced mom - not a first timer ;-) She thought he was just wonderful and he took to her like a very hungry guy. Next came the first of the girls! All went fairly well with 4 breach births! The big red dog came out kicking, feet first, and assured me he was the guy that had been practicing all week long - occasionally startling mom with a swift kick to the ribs. All weighed in at between 5.5 and 7.5 ounces - and all were "present and accounted for" by 9:40 PM--5 hours 40 min. and 7 healthy pups! What a good job.

The following are a few of their first photos. Click on any image to see a 4" x 6" copy. The "head shots" are for April ;-) I tried to get several for her to see early on, as she was most interested in heads ;-)


Crysta and her new brood settle into a fresh bed.	Our first "three dog night!" 1 red & 2 buff	OK . . . we're getting settled in to the routine.

Puppy jumble and one independent guy!	Trying to get those heads is difficult at this age.	A different view of them at less than 24 hrs. old.

The 4 girls snuggle with full tummies.	March 16 - under mom's skirts.	March 17 - is mom a grouse?

Heads from a different angle . . . !	Still one content, independent pup over there ;-)	We pack like sardines!

Mom - staying in touch!	Ear pigment color . . . one is black one is pink.	Does this indicate a coat color difference later?
