With only 4 puppies left, I began leash training.CH KrisMyth Command Performance ("Jordy") x Am/Can CH Countrydream's Jet Flash, CGC ("Crysta")Actually, these pups had been on a lead twice before, but not with any training in mind. Previoulsy, on two occasions, I had taken them out on a lead just to see if they would fight the lead. I did nothing but let them see that they were restrained at the end of the lead. This Monday afternoon, I took them out for their first "serious" training session. I had Judy video the experience and pulled these still clips from the video. Not great quality, but helpful for me. I hope to add some Video clips soon as well. All puppies were on a nylon loop lead with little or no pressure. The lead was only to guide and not to force. I wanted to see how they would move on their own—at my side. |
