My research focuses on microgenetic analysis of student learning with computational media. I am particularly interested in the development of creative ideas and computational thinking in small groups working with constructionist technologies, such as robotics, Scratch and other computational media. Please visit my research page to read about my most recent work on developing a computational approach to microgenetic analysis of small group discussions in robotics learning environments.

Other research interests include online learning in secondary and tertiary institutional settings, and the development and use of interactive simulations in grade 6-12 science classrooms, and teacher professional development.
