Welcome to the Computational Nanomaterials Laboratory! Our overarching interests lie in using computational methods to probe materials at length scales ranging from the nano- to macroscale. Our primary tools are density functional theory, empirical potential methods, and continuum mechanics models (with paper-and-pencil theory thrown in for fun).
