Jack Eccles is a Junior from Melrose, Massachusetts. He is studying Operations and Information Management here at UMass. This is his second year with UMass International Relations Club after serving as Under Secretary General of Logistics last year. Jack is the Political Director for the UMass Democrats and outside of academia he enjoys skiing, pop punk music, and Ice Cream. Jack is ecstatic for what this year’s conference will bring
Noosha Uddin is a Senior in the College of Social And Behavioral Sciences, with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science, and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. She became a part of the International Relations Club's family her freshman year at UMass, and served as the USG Outreach her sophomore year for UMassMUN XV.She is excited to serve as UMassMUN's Director General again this year and and can't wait to see what the delegates are cooking up for this year's conference!
Saahas Jain is a Senior at UMass Amherst, working towards a Mechanical Engineering degree. He has been regularly attended Model UN conferences since high school, and has participated in 3 college conferences besides having staffed UMassMUN since his freshman year. He is also the treasurer of the UMass International Relations Club and webmaster of the UMass chapter of Engineers Without Borders. He has an unending passion for cars. He is excited to see what UMassMUN XVII has in store!
Abby McDonough is a freshman from Norfolk, MA. She is a Political Science major with a minor in Arabic. She was active in Model UN in high school and attended UMass MUN in 2016 and 2017. In addition to International Relations Club, Abby is a member of the a cappella group S#arp Attitude. She also enjoys Netflix documentaries, iced coffee, and discovering new podcasts. She is so excited to be a part of the secretariat and is looking forward to organizing a great conference.
Jonathan (Jon) Fyler is a sophomore from Sharon Massachusetts. He is in the college of Social and Behavioral Sciences pursuing a major in Political Sciences and a minor in middle eastern studies. This is his second year with the UMass International Relation Club and his second time being a staffer for the Umass conference. He is very excited to be USG Staff for this conference and is looking forward to a really fun weekend! Outside of Model UN at UMass he is on the executive board for the UMass History Club
Kevin is a Junior Political Science Major from Westwood, Massachusetts. This is his Second year as part of the Umass International Relation Club, though he was involved in Model UN throughout high school. A first time member of the Secretariat , and serving as USG Committees, he looks forward to helping make the conference as fun and engaging as possible. In addition to the International Relations Club, he is also a part of the Debate Team and is the Secretary for the Umass History Club. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys listening to public radio, studying modern art, and baking.
Aarat Satyavolu is a freshman who is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Economics, while fostering an ardent interest for International Relations and Politics. He has attended Model UN conferences internationally and has been exposed to several different types of debate and policy in his 6 years of experience. As part of the UN Water organization, he worked with UN Environmentalists to conduct analysis on water conservation in several disadvantaged areas in India. In his spare time, you can find him at Hackathons, Debate Tournaments and at whichever place is serving obscenely large cookies.
