Poems I Can Handle
Sharing With You

Although this stuff mostly sucks, it still means a lot to me.
I wrote it because I had to, and I'm posting it here for pretty much the same reason.

Don't Look Now But Your M&Ms Are Melting In Your Hands
This is about human waste, pollution and injustice.

The Buddha's Eternity
This came to me while reading about the Buddhist religion.

The Poets
Why is a poet?

Perfect Breeze
A poem of love and revitilization.

Wave of Change
This came to me from looking at a huge boulder that was split
by the waves on the shore at Ogunquit, Maine.

Big Dump
Sometimes life is like this.

Israel
This is an attempt at a longing love letter from Christ to his church.

Would
I would if I could, but I can't so I won't.

Happy Mother's Day, Debbie
This is a card I wrote for my wife, Debbie one Mother's Day.

Prayer
This is my all time favorite poem, bar none.
This was written by my dearly departed friend Tobie Hopkins, and I post it here in his loving memory.

Ode to a Merchant of Malice
This one is a PDF. I wanted it to be displayed with a certain type of font, befitting the style of the language.
You need Adobe Reader to view it, yada yada yada.

There's a story behind this one, in which I get very pissed off at a fellow employee of the University, over a relatively small conflict, and simmer over it for a long time, holding the grudge for a period of time way longer than reasonable, but finally get my inspration to express my indignity in a creative, hopefully constructive way. Let's just say that there are some situations where one should not compromise.
