An A Paper: Many daily newspapers are written at a seventh-grade reading level. The key to getting information or opinion across to your reader is clarity, not big words or long sentences. Clarity is extremely difficult to achieve. Anyone can say nothing in 50 words; the trick is saying something in five. If you have trouble writing papers, or you have never been shown how to write one, the Writing Center in DuBois Library is there to help. Please make an appointment.
