Foggy
Leverett, MA
January, 1996

The setting: Generally in January we have "January thaw", which is roughly one week of warmer than usual weather. When this happens with snow on the ground we can have some wonderfully foggy times that reveal the solitude that can be found in the area. This tries to capture one of those times. The little footbridge visible to the right-center of the image has recently been replaced by something much less attractive.

Technical detail: TMax 100, 4x5, Zone VI Field Camera, Schneider 210 mm lens, f22.

Within Gallery #5: Previous Image or Next Image.
