Whitmore Falls
Sunderland, MA
October, 1997
The setting: Whitmore Falls is within a few feet of the Connecticut River in Sunderland Massachusetts. The day this was taken, the two thick branches in the lower part of the image were present as a result of a storm. A few weeks later they were gone due to another storm. The light was hazy bright with high thin clouds; late afternoon.
Technical detail: TMax 100, 4x5, Zone VI Field Camera, Schneider 210 mm lens, f22.
