Description:
Robots Inc., in support of the National Transportation Systems Center, has an immediate opportunity for a creative and innovative (Software) Technical Writer to support a number of aviation safety software development projects.
You will work with the systems architects and software engineers to write requirements specifications, design documents, test plans and other information technology technical reports in support of the Flight Standards Information Management System (FSIMS) and the Flight Standards Automation Subsystem (FSAS).
FSIMS provides FAA with a web-based electronic library of aviation safety related publications and a portal to other related documents. FSAS compiles automated information systems used by AFS to plan, record, and track aviation surveillance, certification, and other safety related activities.
You will also interact with a wide range of technical professionals regarding the writing, editing and publication of various types of documents, end-user help guides, and on-line help, incorporating graphics, pictures, or illustrations to go along with the documentation.
Track and monitor the flow of all documents from inception to distribution; provide final quality assurance check for all document deliverables and establish and maintain a library of publications.
Degree in English, Technical Writing, or other related field is required.
3 - 5 years experience writing information technology documentation such as software project documentation, formal reports, software end-user guides, on-line Help, web-Help,etc.
Requires expertise with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.)
Experience writing HTML and developing help screens, using RoboHelp or other similar authoring tools is required.
Requires strong communication and writing skills, experience with standard style guides and formats.

Job Description: XYZ Corp is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Copywriter to join its growing marketing communications team.
The Copywriter will be responsible for developing a clear understanding of the general financial markets, its key players and what makes them tick. They must then turn this knowledge into concise, benefits-first marketing copy for a myriad of data, news and conference brands. The Copywriter will work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales and Graphic Design to conceptualize, draft and polish truly compelling content.

Position Requirements
