Library resources page

To benefit from the wealth of learning available in the University library, you need to be able to find it. Fortunately, there are many indexes to historical scholarship online and in print. This page gives a few of the most important. The UMass Library web site has a more extensive online database finder, and reference librarians can help you with further print resources.

Note: most of these databases are restricted to the UMass community; if you log in from somewhere else, you will be prompted for your UMAccess userid and password. If you don't have a UMAccess account, use an on-campus connection.

Online database at Amherst College
(You will have to go to the Amherst library to use this database; ask the reference librarian there if you need help. Amherst also has many of the same databases that UMass has, so if you go there to use ITER you can also do additional research there.)
