4.2.03. I know it seems like all he does is play with trains. I guess the answer
is he does spend a lot of time with his trains. And it's one of the few
times he's still long enough to grab a shot. Toddlerhood is a tough time for
photos. When we're able to get out more, I'm sure there will be lots of shots
of Owen outdoors, running in the opposite direction. :-)
4.17.03 Okay, to make up for the last few months when we weren't able to take many pictures, I broke and couldn't stop. And they're here for my reference, mainly. I know it's terrible for slow connections. This documents his train fixation, and his period of carbohydrate loading. Normally he's not such a bread fiend, but for a week or two that's all he wanted, and surprise, we discovered all of a sudden that his pants were too short. He was growing. The weather's improved and we were able to get out a bit (whee!). He's been obsessed with stairs as he works on navigating them while upright, it's what he does every trip outside. Though swinging is good too. The pictures at the end reflect 1) his love of his red jacket (he wouldn't take it off) and 2) his glee at pictures when I showed him his picture in the little display after taking a shot. This gives me a minute or two of smiles, for which I'm grateful! -- Amity
