Vicente Revilla is a librarian at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, CUNY. His photographs have been exhibited in New York City, Hawaii, Lima and other cities in Peru. In addition to photographer, Vicente Revilla is also a chessplayer and a coach. His team (BMCC) won the United States national intercollegiate chess tournament in 1994, 1995, and 1997. These victories led to many interviews on radio, television, and various newspapers.
Vicente Revilla has been granted awards in librarianship and photography by the CUNY/Research Foundation, The New York Council for the Humanities and the Fulbright organization.
