Instructions:
Think about the choices you make on a day to day basis. Write down the details associated with each of the three different types of decisions listed below:
1) The purchase of a good or service (e.g. type of food for dinner, clothes for next week's date or the car you are going to buy)
2) How you will spend your time on the weekend (e.g. study vs. party, movie vs. shopping)
3) A difficult decision you need to make (e.g. spending next summer traveling or working, majoring in engineering or business)
Identify the opportunity cost for each decision. The essay must be at least two pages (12 point font) and should describe how you reached a decision in each case (or how you are trying) and how you weighed the opportunity cost. The essay needs to be free of spelling and grammatical errors (use Spelling and Grammar Check). While the essay should focus on the opportunity cost of choices you have made (or are making), you are welcome to use your creativity to make the essay engaging, humorous, or to support your view on social/political issues.
