COURSE REQUIREMENTS :

For this course you will need: 

1. Textbook

The Micro Economy Today, 9th ed., Bradley R. Schiller, McGraw Hill / Irwin, Copyright 2003.  The price of the book is $70.50.  The price includes access to the publisher’s website.  It can be purchased in the Textbook Annex.  

 2. Personal Response System Transmitter

New PRS transmitters cost $36 dollars at the Textbook Annex.  A limited number of used transmitters will also be available at the Textbook Annex for $27.25.  At the end of the semester, the bookstore will buy them back for $18, making the net cost $18 for new transmitters and $9.25 for used transmitters.

 3. Access to a Computer with Web Access (for OWL)

This course requires On-line Web-based Learning System (OWL) quizzes.  You must have access to a personal computer and a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape) in order to take access OWL. If you don’t own a computer you can use one for free, with web access, in the Computer Lab at Learning Support Services on the10th floor of the Library.
