Ph.D. in Computer Science, Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Engineering


I am a Ph.D. candidate (graduating in June 2018) at the Univerisity of Massachusetts Amherst, and proudly working with Professor David Irwin and Professor Prashant Shenoy in the area of big energy data analytics using Machine Learning and Data Science techniques, with focus on security and privacy. I received my first Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northeastern University China where I was advised by Professor Guiran Chang in July 2014. I also worked in industry for two years as Unix Software Engineer.

**Prospective Students**
I am joining the School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) at the Florida International University (FIU) as a tenue-track Assistant Professor in August, 2018. I am looking for prospective Ph.D students and visiting scholars to work with me on research projects in the areas of big data analytics (with particular application to security and privacy) of Internet-of-Things (IoT), and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).
