Soft-Matter colleagues at UMass

UMass Amherst has a vibrant community of people who study soft materials, and indeed the campus has a leading role in this area. Soft matter involves researchers from many departments. We are also a very collaborative insitution, and cross-group collaborations are very effective and common.
