Possibly Hosting Spring Conclave 2011 here at UMass

Conclave went really well

Reflections from Conclave:

  • We have a great service program here J YAY!
  • $500 service grant
  • Sign up for a service event and don’t show without notice ahead of time- then the number of hours for that project will be deducted from your total
  • Semesters with big projects like Boston Marathon and Relay for Life where you can get all your hours maybe making it required that you need to do at least 3-4 projects so that all projects are equally attended
  • Homeless a Night- build a house (cardboard box houses) competition and get the campus community involved.
  • Service hour contest and you get a prize at the end
  • Brother of the week and pledge of the week award (big Mr. Potato Head and Little Mr. potato head for the week)
