Alpha Phi Omega Meeting 3/9/08

SVP:
We have a service log in the office. Brothers, please write your service hours
in it. 20 Hours are required for the semester. 10 hours are required by March 25
or you will be an associate brother, and will loose your voting privileges for
the semester. (In which case you will need to write a letter to e-board
explaining why you have not done your hours).
Frank’s Troop – Every Wednesday 700-830pm
St. Johns Episcopal Church, Rt. 9 in Northampton
Shawn will be in the office at 630 to give rides.
Prison Book Project Every Sunday 1-4
We put together packages for Prisoners in Texas and New England with books that
have been donated.

March 29 – Merit Badge University 800am – 230pm (Registration starts at 830)
Teach merit badges to Boy Scouts for the local council and others.
Thanks to everyone who helped out. This was the highest attended, smoothest run
MBU since the creation of the project. Everyone’s help was greatly appreciated
in making it so smooth.

April 12 – Alpha Phi Omega’s 5K Road Race
This is the first annual “Spring into Action” 5-K. It will be hosted entirely
by APO. Please help make this a fantastic fundraising event. If anyone wishes to
help with the planning process, there will be a meeting in the office at 515 on
Monday.
Fri-Sat April 18-19 – Relay for Life

Mon April 21 – Boston Marathon
Both Yukie and Steve have kindly opened their homes for us to stay in the
night before.
Thurs Apr 24 – WGBY Wine and Dine Auction 9pm - 1130pm
Need to answer phones, run bids and record on whiteboard
Thurs May 1 –Locks for Love Hair Drive
Jillian will be putting up flyers. Any help is appreciated.
Special thanks to everyone who did the all of the service this weekend, two
security events and MBU. They deserve a special round of applause.

Pledge Liaison – Came up with possible fellowship and service events.
All voted on pledge service project. Will take place on April 6th.

We are running the work shops committee for Nationals.
Sheraton Hotel in Boston.
Hotel $104 per night, per room. (2 queen size beds)
