Web Access
You
will need to be able to connect to the World Wide Web
from a computing lab on campus, an ethernet jack in on-campus
dorm, or through a modem connection from home. An account with an Internet
Service Provider (Access to the UMass Campus Network through Ethernet
or Dial-up is available with you OIT Account) is also required. When
you get an OIT Computing Account, you will also receive a free copy
of our OIT CD. This CD contains useful software and documentation to
assist you in setting up your computer here at UMass to connect
to the Internet and our campus-wide network.
