Here's the abridged version of my life:

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1970. My family moved to Canada in 1973, and over the years i've lived in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and now Amherst. In that time, my goofy but loveable brother was born. Who'd've thought that I'd end up in small-town USA. Gosh.

my mother tongue is lebanese French and I've kept it. But tragically I lost most of my Arabic when I moved to Canada. I learned English around the age of four in Montreal. Since then it's taken over as my dominant language.
