I love comic books. The illustrations and stories. It's been a while now but I once worked at a comic book store called the Silver Snail.

Over the last few years I've lost a measure of respect for the industry but not the medium. I don't read any of the new books because I just don't appreciate much of what's out there. But I've kept my graphic novels and I reread them whenever I have a moment.

Let me recommend a good mix of American titles:
