The real-time case consists of several components: Some communication
is one-way, and consists of 1) background material on the case
company's industry and technology, 2) weekly case installments, 3) "breaking
news" reports, and 3) conceptual articles related to the problem of the
week. Two-way interactivity between the case company and the students
includes video conferences, phone conferences, and online chat sessions.
Finally, the excitement of the case is enhanced by competitions between
schools, and by the opportunity for students to make input to the case
company's decisions.
