Tara C. Dennehy

I received my Master of Arts in Psychological Research (Mind, Brain, & Behavior) at San Francisco State University in May 2011, and am currently a doctoral student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, working with Dr. Nilanjana (Buju) Dasgupta.

My research interests are broadly located in perceptions of psychological essentialism, entitativity, and their implications for stereotyping, prejudice, and social inequity.  My long-term aim is to become a professor at a research-oriented university.

Note:  I love Purkinje cells.  In another era and another lifetime, I might have been a neuroscientist.
