My Research

The most important aspect of any Master's Program is the reasearch. My thesis is centered around the yolk protein, Lipovitellin (Lv). I am currently developing a protocol to isolate Lv via heat denaturation. I am also quantifying the protein's thermal stability using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

I am also involved in survey trawl gear evaluation as part of my job with NMFS. This page will eventually have links to my published data and highlight some of my current findings and things of my interest.

Follow these links to see my abstract or presentation from the American Fisheries Society meeting in San Francisco.
