I am a first year graduate student in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Massachusetts Amherst. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2003 from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.

I work in Multimedia Networks Lab with Prof. Aura Ganz. My current research interest includes Wireless Networks, Security issues in Ad hoc Networks and Pervasive Computing. In the past, I have also worked on QoS in IP networks, Mobile Ad hoc Networks, Database and Information Integration.

Prior to joining Multimedia Networks Lab, I have worked at IBM India Research Lab and Ittiam Systems.
