- Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, 6:00 pm: Novi Cantori, the
Longmeadow-based chamber choir directed by Allan Taylor (in which Peter
sings baritone and tenor), presents an abbreviated performance of its
spring
2008 concert on the Summer Chamber Series at Trinity College Chapel,
Hartford CT.
- Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, 7:30 pm:
Peter performs as a member of the Arcadia Players Chamber
Ensemble (with Monica Jakuc Leverett, fortepiano, Lisa Rautenberg,
violin, and Kivie Cahn-Lipman, cello) in a concert of music by Beethoven
and his Contemporaries. Works by
Beethoven: a set of variations on a melody by Mozart for cello and
piano, the Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 1, No. 3,
and three British folk songs for voice and piano trio.Works
by his contemporaries: selections from Conradin Kreutzer's Wanderlieder and a Paganini Divertimento for violin and piano. Caswell Library, Deerfield Academy, Old

- Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, 4:00 pm: Peter
is one of 10 performers at a house concert at the home of Monica Jakuc
Leverett in Florence, MA, in a benefit for the Chamber Music at Wistariahurst Museum concert
series, singing Beethoven's song cycle An die ferne Geliebte with Monica
accompanying on foretpiano, and Schubert's duet Mignon und der Harfner with Monica
and mezzo soprano Jane Hanson.
- Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, 7:30 pm:
Peter and fortepianist Monica Jakuc Leverett open
the Arcadia Players' All-Beethoven
Concert with the song cycle An die ferne Geliebte. This concert
presents three very different facets of Beethoven's work played on
instruments like those of his time. Ian Watson leads the
Arcadia Players Orchestra in the Piano Concerto No. 4 and in
the Symphony No. 1. Monica Jakuc Leverett will be soloist in
the concerto, playing a 5 ½-octave fortepiano modeled on those
of Beethoven’s time. Sweeney Concert

- Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, 8:00 pm:
In the second half of a concert of musical settings of Amherst poets Emily Dickinson and
Robert Frost, Peter sings Ernst Bacon's song cycle Nature with tenor James Mead and
pianist Elise Jackendoff. Other singers are Anita Cooper, Dorie Goldman
and Kayla Werlin, with pianists Will Bridegam and Catherine Bennett,
performing solo songs by local composers Will Bridegam and John Duke,
and ensemble works by local composer Alice Parker. Pre-concert talk at
7:30 pm. Emily Dickinson's famous black cake will be served after the

annual Emily Dickinson bed & breakfast weekend, hosted by the

presents Cantabile (the vocal
ensemble in which Peter sings bass) performing with the Arcadia Players
Consort of Viols and Ian Watson, organ, in Music for Evensong. This
concert recreates music from an English Evensong service of the early
1600s, drawing the anthems, Magnificat, psalms,
hymns and chant from the works of Byrd, Gibbons, Thomas Tomkins and
others from this most fertile period in English musical history. Pre-ordered tickets: general $20,

- Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, 3:30 pm:
Novi Cantori, the
Longmeadow-based chamber choir directed by Allan Taylor (in which Peter
sings baritone and tenor), presents the first performance of its annual
Christmas Carol Festival at First Congregational Church,
18 Broad St., Westfield MA. This
is a program for people of all ages, with audience participation in
several carols accompanied by brass quartet and organ. Novi will
perform a portion of their fine arts program, and the New England Brass
Quartet and organist John Anderson will each perform solo numbers.
- Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, 5:30 pm:
Novi Cantori, the
Longmeadow-based chamber choir directed by Allan Taylor (in which Peter
sings baritone and tenor), presents the first performance of Christmas
with Novi Cantori at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Front
St., Chicopee MA. This
program is Novi’s traditional fine arts concert, with Christmas music
spanning the ages, from the Renaissance to contemporary works. Organist
John Anderson will again join the group as accompanist and soloist.
- Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, 3:00 pm:
Novi Cantori, the
