    T 3 Apr. Text II

    Th 5 Apr. Text III

    • CLASS CANCELLED
    • A web-based python interpreter (instead of Anaconda)
    • Paper on systems: Group write-up (1 to 2 pages) of what's been going on so far. Present it.
    • Read Montfort, Programming, pp. 107 to 123, "Text I"
    • Bring computer to class
    • Here is a text file of the complete works of Robert Frost for our Forst-Poetry-Generator. (Right-click and "Save As" a text file)

Notes: PAPER. Describe the purpose of your group generally, and then each task that the members have. Describe how far the group has gone in fulfilling its purpose. About 2 pages. ONE PAPER PER GROUP.

Presentations. Very informal. What have you done so far? What is your plan of attack? How have you split up the assignments for gathering information?

Notes: Use the course resources to gather web-based information on internet security.

Kim Zetter's stuff at Wired. (Including, Does it fly sideways?)

Interesting article on ATM skimmers here.

More from Krebs on Security. And Bruce Schneier's site.
