Gateway Regional School District

Gateway Regional School District is quite vast and includes towns of Middlefield, Chester, Huntington, Worthington, Montgomery, Russell, and Blandford. Each of these towns also had a local elementary school; however, Gateway has just recently opened a district elementary school which many elementary students from numerous towns now attend. Many of the old elementary schools are shutting down and sending the students to the district elemtary school. Gateway Regional High School and Middle School have just recently been completely renevated and turned into a new and prestigious school. They now have state-of-the-art equipment and a newly added Auditorium and Gym. Gateway Regional High School has many foreign-exchange students attending every year. Gateway also has a new Distance Learning Program with Mohawk Regional High School where teachers teach students not only at Gateway but also at Mohawk through video-internet technology. The classes Gateway and Mohawk converge on is AP History and C++ Programming.
