QFS98 -- Registration, Conference
Fee, and Financial Aspects Information:
Registration deadline - April 10, 1998
(coincident with the abstract deadline). Official
registration
for the QFS98 conference will take place through the use
of an internet form which is now accessable from this web page. Information
concerning this internet form
(and an e-mail alternative version for use by those who do not have an
adequate internet browser) was distributed by separate e-mail on
March 26, 1998. This
registration form seeks your housing
requests (for those who will use
University dormatory facilities, or the local on-campus Campus Center Hotel). These
accomodation arrangements
are now set up, and current information will continue to be posted on
our web pages. Modes of payment will
include Visa, Master Charge, and
bank transfer. We strongly encourage people to use credit cards, as this is most
convenient. Credit card payments have no extra fee; wire bank transfers
will carry a $25 fee imposed by the bank (we can not avoid this). US dollars will be the currency for payment. Please note
the separate page deadlines.
Conference fee - The conference fee will
be $275, lunch provided. Please note that all participants are expected to pay
the conference fee, including invited speakers. The conference, housing and meals fees will
be payable by May 8, 1998. Payment must be made
directly to Conference Services by means of a personalized form
for this purpose which will be provided
as a result of your electronic registration. This form must be mailed
by regular mail with
payment, unless you are paying by credit card, in
which case the form may be sent via FAX. Please note that participants should wait until they are notified of acceptance by the conference
(by April 24, 1998) before they submit payment and the payment form. All payment forms received by Conference Services with
payment will be acknowledged by Conference Services by regular mail, and will include a campus map and
instructions as to where to check in to housing, and to the conference. Housing and
conference check-in have been made independent so that those arriving early may obtain housing
promptly.
