In addition to our many
local attractions in the
Pioneer Valley, (for example,
Historic Old Deerfield,
The Yankee Candle Car Museum,
and
The Basketball Hall of Fame),
Massachusetts and the entire New England region of the northeast United States is
an interesting place to visit. The seacoasts of
Cape Cod, Massachusetts and
Maine are particularly pleasant
and quaint, and in June are not yet filled with people on summer holiday. The city of
Boston is close by (under two hours by car),
and within about three hours travel is
New York City, a place with just about anything you might ever want.
Those who may wish to travel more broadly
will also find useful information here. For example, our system of
National Parks is a favorite among visitors to the United States.
