Welcome to the website for the Project on Epistemology and Indexicality in Navajo, Tibetan and English. This project is supported by the National Science Foundation, grant #BCS-0527509.
This project studies how syntactic structure is related to conceptual structure and the understanding of the minds of others. It includes studies on child language acquisition in Tibetan and English, as well as field work on the adult grammar of Tibetan, Navajo and English.
