I'm a graduate student in linguistics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I'm in the third year of a five-year PhD program. My focus is on phonology. I've worked on the sonority of consonant clusters, Too-Many-Repairs Problems, and the effect of repetition on word duration. I'm getting interested in the learning of features and phonotactic constraints. My interests outside of linguistics include cooking, dancing, and generally learning how to do new things.

In Spring 2012, I'm teaching Linguistics 201 Section D.
