1. The History of Formal Semantics

This is a project that I started in 2010, for a book for Oxford University Press. It will take some years to finish; I'm doing a lot of interviews so that it won't be just about my own perspective. I had some earlier relevant work, and many of my recent talks and papers have been devoted to various aspects of this topic.  Here are links to papers and to slides from talks, and in three cases, to videos.

In Russian: For those who speak Russian, I gave a non-technical talk in Russian on April 19, 2012, on the birth of formal semantics from linguistics and philosophy. It's for non-specialists, in the polit.ru public lectures series. There was about an hour of questions and answers after the talk.
