List of classmates and paper topics

This list is intended to help you locate classmates working on similar paper topics so you can discuss your work. You may collaborate by suggesting sources, discussing problems in interpreting the sources, and commenting on outlines or drafts. However, you should not do either of the following:

(1) Write collaboratively (i.e., at the same time and in the same place). Your actual writing should be your own, though you can solicit comments on drafts. These comments should not be copyediting--that is, you should not suggest specific words for your classmate(s) to use. You can indicate passages that you think should be revised and why.

(2) Copy from one another. That's plagiarism, just as much as if you copied from a published source.
