UIUC hosts NELS 37.

At the NELS business meeting, three universities announced interest in hosting NELS 37: the University of Toronto (UToronto), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and the University of Delaware (UDel). Both UToronto and UIUC presented strong cases for NELS. The attendants of the NELS business meeting agreed that it should be taken into account that UIUC had never hosted a NELS before. The geographical location of UIUC was discussed but in this particular case no objections to NELS moving outside its traditional area were raised.

NELS 38.

No final decision was made with respect to hosting NELS 38, but UToronto and Cornell announced strong interest and will discuss the hosting of NELS 38 between themselves. The final decision was postponed to next year's NELS business meeting.
