Since I came to the University of Massachusetts in 1998, I was involved
in several clinical studies and research projects. Also, I worked
as an assistant editor for the International Journal of Sport Nutrition & Exercise Metabolism for 3 years. The first stages of my dissertation
involved the study of glutathione and muscle damage which led me to
the study of neutrophils. I have learned several techniques including
isolation of white blood cells, extraction of RNA, and microarray
analysis at the UMASS medical school, Worcester. I also learned cell culture techniques. My work at UMASS was
great experience in my life. Additionally, with all my laboratory
skills and knowledge learned while I have been at UMASS, I will be
able to fit myself to any research environment.
Now I am currently in my country, South Korea to search a job position.
