- May 7: On Friday, we'll review syntax of foreign languages. On Monday, we'll review homework 7 and English syntax. If you have other requests for review, or would like to have another review session before the final exam, let me know.

- Apr 25: Get the answer key to the quiz: syllable quiz key.
- Apr 18: On Wednesday, April 23, we will have a short quiz in class. It will be about syllable structure: onsets, codas, etc. Check out the relevant section in the course packet, and ask me question by email and/or in office hours.
- Apr 14: Get the latest handout if you didn't get it in class: syllables.
- Apr 9: Get answer keys to the homework assignments: homework 6 key. These are supposed to help you prepare for the midterm. Questions? Ask me!
- Apr 9: Recall that there is a mid-term this Friday. I will be on campus most of the day tomorrow (Thursday). You can simply show up for office hours whenever, but it's always better to email me and let me know you are coming. Questions by email are welcome too.

- Apr 7: On Wednesday, April 23, we will have a short quiz in class. Be there! This is an opportunity to bump up your grade.
- Apr 7: Get the latest handouts if you didn't get them in class: phonemes and allophones, phonological rules.
- Apr 2: Get homework 6 if you didn't get it in class. It is due Wednesday, April 9 @ 9:05am.
- Mar 28: Get homework 5 if you didn't get it in class. It is due Wednesday, April 2 @ 9:05am.

- Feb 25: Recall that there is a midterm on Friday. The midterm covers everything we did in class up to and including last week. If you did the three homework assignments well, you are mostly prepared for the midterm. Otherwise, be sure to ask questions in class, or by email, or come to office hourse. - Feb 19: Remember that we will not be meeting this Friday, February 22.
- Feb 19: Get homework 3 if you didn't get it in class. It is due Monday, February 25 @ 9:05am. Note that it's due Monday, not Wednesday.
