Travels and Pictures

In September 2006, I moved to an apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City.

Last summer I lived in the cosmopolitan city of Budapest, Hungary, for a couple months, just a block away from Andrassy boulevard.

In the summer of 2005, I spent a wonderful six weeks in the romantic hills of Granada, Spain. My boyfriend and I rented an apartment overlooking the city, and spent our nights wandering through the Alhambra palaces and gardens.

I helped excavate an early Umayyad palace located in Balis, Syria during the summer of 2002. 

("Helped" is a strong word.  Despite my best efforts, I was more hazardous than helpful!  I do hope no lasting damage was done as a result of my ineptitude.)

I spent a few months enjoying la dolce vita in Rome, Italy, in the summer of 2001.
