Dr. Lisa Scott is looking for research assistants to work in her developmental EEG laboratory.
Work Study (must qualify through financial aid) & Independent Study (course credit- Psych 398B) options available.
Job Duties:
- Helping to set up and maintain a database of infant particpants.
- Recruiting infants and families to participate in studies.
- Preparing both infant and adult participants for electrophysiological recording and running them through various experiments.
Looking for someone who:
- Has interests in Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or Neuroscience
- Has knowledge of psychological research methods
- Has general computer literacy
- Has good organizational, communication, and people skills
- Has previous experience working with infants and children
- Has attention to detail
- Is Responsible, dependable, and has an upbeat attitude
