University of Massachusetts Amherst - Psychology - Dr. Lisa S. Scott

Dr. Lisa Scott is looking for research assistants to work in her developmental EEG laboratory.

Work Study (must qualify through financial aid) & Independent Study (course credit- Psych 398B) options available.

Job Duties:

  1. Helping to set up and maintain a database of infant particpants.
  2. Recruiting infants and families to participate in studies.
  3. Preparing both infant and adult participants for electrophysiological recording and running them through various experiments.

Looking for someone who:

  • Has interests in Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or Neuroscience
  • Has knowledge of psychological research methods
  • Has general computer literacy
  • Has good organizational, communication, and people skills
  • Has previous experience working with infants and children
  • Has attention to detail
  • Is Responsible, dependable, and has an upbeat attitude
