Muvari Connie Tjiurute
Muvari is a first-year Plant Biology MS student who is here with a Fulbright Fellowship from her home country of Namibia. Muvari's research will assess resistance of cranberry varieties to dodder parasitism, and ask whether dodder parasitism induces changes in plant phytohormones and chemical defenses. She will also ask how gypsy moth damage affects subsequent plant resistant to dodder.More information coming soon!
