I’m a graduate student in philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Most of my past and current research interests fall under the umbrella of metaphysics. I've spent time trying to decide whether I should believe in universals, tropes, or neither. I’ve also spent some time trying to decide whether mereology is as ontologically innocent as many philosophers claim it to be. Currently, I’m studying contemporary accounts of belief. In particular, I’m interested in the metaphysics of indexical belief.

"The aim of philosophy, abstractly formulated, is to understand how things in the broadest possible sense of the term hang together in the broadest possible sense of the term." Wilfrid Sellars, Philosophy and the Scientific Image of Man
