About me...

I grew up in SaskatoonSaskatchewan, and then moved on to various adventures....

My Bachelor of Arts was completed at the U
niversity of Ottawa, in the Second Language Teaching and Linguistics programs.  I also worked as a Parliamentary Page in the Canadian House of Commons.

I then received a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Education...  My experience there included an amazing internship with the Aga Khan Foundation in Bangladesh.

Eventually I ended up back at the Universi
ty of Calgary, this time in the Master's Program of the Department of Linguistics.  There I had the good fortune to encounter many people who sharpened my interest in linguistics.  John Archibald, my thesis advisor, deserves a lot of credit.

I've been a student in the PhD program of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst since 2005.
