Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland

On May 12, 2007 we took a long and very productive private day tour in Iceland, with our very congenial and knowledgeable birding guide Hrafnar Svavarsson of Gavia Travel. Conditions were relatively good, for Iceland, although we had high winds. We birded from 9 a.m. until nightfall at nearly 11 p.m. These are a few of the 52 breeding species we saw. We highly recommend Gavia Travel .
