Checking out the news has always interested me. I am not sure why, some people hate the news, but I have always enjoyed watching the news even when I was younger. I read the newspaper from cover to cover and I am always checking out the latest news on Google each day as I enjoy finding out the news when it is first occurring and it also helps me keep up with all the news from around the globe. Well, today I was looking at the latest Google news on technology trends and found out that there is going to be a big big conference in Los Angeles on September 16-18 where the biggest of the big names in the telephone industry will be releasing their newest and latest advances in voip and pbx technology. The great thing about this technology is that it is new, and so the new things just keep coming. Voip telephony news is changing at a rapid pace and keeping up with it is difficult but very interesting. I was excited to hear about this conference as this is the world's largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. I really have never attended one before but since this show will be so nearby I may just take a day and go. I have a few friends who are somewhat interested in this technology, maybe not as much so as I am, but I think that I could convince them to come with me and we could make a day of it. Anyway, learning about the world around us and keeping up with the latest changes and developments in our world, seems to me to be the only responsible way to exist in this society. With things changing so quickly in the world to wait and just read the local newspaper is to limit your knowledge of the universe. This country is the one you know the best, so if you really want to broaden your horizons a little bit, then branch out and take in some world news via the internet and also CNN can provide you with a little bit more of the bigger picture, if reading isn't your thing.
