Trying to pay the bills while being a full time student can be a bit difficult at times. I don't like to complain, but with the price of gas going up and up a lot of students here are taking out more loans in order to keep their heads above water. I am really trying not to do that. I don't think that a lot of students think about what paying back the loans will be like, they just sign their names to the papers and then spend it like it was free money or something. I guess maybe it seems that way to them, but I can't help thinking about how much I owe and even worse, how much I am going to have to pay back. That is why I have been trying not to take out extra loans, and instead have gotten a job with a friend selling promotional products. I know you are probably wondering what a promotional product is, since this is a term that a lot of people are not familiar with, and I have gotten really good at explaining it. Promotional products are products that you use to advertise your business. Items like hats, coffee mugs, t-shirts, tote bags, sports bottles, and pens. Most of us have picked up a promotional pen, either at a doctor's office or other place of business. Sometimes you don't even realize that you are taking it, you just accidentally walk off with it in your pocket and then when you go somewhere else, you pull that pen out and use it. Maybe even leaving it behind for some other person to pick up and pocket and this is the way the advertising for promotional pens work. Other promotional items are usually worn around town advertising for you every where they go. It is a really great way to advertise, and many people like to use this method to improve customer and client retention as well as reward employees for a job well done. These items almost sell themselves, so my job basically is to take this information around to people with a few sample items, and I make some money. It is a great job and I can make a good deal by just peddling these promotional items.
