Modeling auditions

Last week was spring break for our school and I went home for the week to see my family. I love going home any chance I get, but since home is two states away, it is only the long breaks that I feel it is really worth it to endure the hassle of travel. I left on friday after classes ended and I drove straight up to Massachusetts. When I got there after midnight everyone was asleep except my dad and he was just conscious enough to help me in to the house before we both went right to bed. The next morning I did the usual breakfast thing and we all talked about what we have been up to since Christmas break. It had been a whole two months since I had seen them last and a lot had happened. When breakfast had ended I decided to take my little brother to the mall and just have some time with him for a while. We talked in the car some more and he told about the work he was doping these days. My brother has always been really in to acting and modeling. Ever since he was like three years old he would dress up and perform the books our parents would read to us. He would also play dress up a lot and stand in front of the mirror in all of his clothes talking about fashion. Since I last saw him he had been getting ready for a bunch of auditions. He is a junior in high school and so he has acting auditions each spring for the next year. He also has annual modeling auditions which he does so that he can try to keep saving up for school. This year though he has one extra auditions he has been preparing for. The theater college he wants to go to has a summer program and they have their theater auditions about a month before the program starts. If he gets in to this program he is almost guaranteed admission to the school the next year. I just couldn't stop telling him how proud I am of him and all of his hard work.
