FREIGHT FACTORING TAKES THE PRESSURE OFF

My father has owned a trucking company for as long as I can remember. He started out as a trucker and decided that he could open his own freight company and has worked hard at it for years. There have always been ups and downs with the business, but dad has always been able to take care of things.

Lately, with so many shifts in the economy and the rising gasoline prices, it seems that fewer people are paying their invoices quickly and therefore he had to look into another way to boost his cash flow. He looked into taking a loan and doing some other things to boost his cash flow, he even offered some quick pay discounts, but nothing was really working. Then he discovered something called Freight Factoring. I had never really heard of this before, but he explained it to me and it seemed to make sense. A factoring company takes your invoices that you are waiting on payment for and they pay you up front for them. It kind of works like a payday loan, except it is specifically designed for trucking companies to help them generate money quickly in times of need. I had never heard of such a service, but my father said he had heard of them several times in the past, but had never needed such a service before. He said that financially things were getting too tight and now this service would really come in handy to him.

He contacted the freight factoring company and he was approved and received his cash very quickly. He said that the process was really easy, and that this would help him be able to meet his monthly expenses. Now he is feeling a lot better. I can see in his face that a lot of the pressure has been lifted. After all, many of his customers have been with him for years, and he doesn't want his financial pressures to have to put pressure on them to get the payments in quickly. My father is a very good business man, but even with that this failing economy is really hurting everyone, especially businesses that have to do with transportation.
