eyelash extensions

My friends and I have had some pretty interesting jobs since we started college. I have worked at restaurants all over town and those were my favorite places to work. Right now I have a good job working as a phone operator for the college that I go to, but my last job was just a bit odd. I worked at this salon at the mall that hired me as the inventory and clerk. Once I started working they began to ask me to do other things that didn't require much experience. They would ask me to shampoo hair and to clean up the floor for the stylists. One day they asked me to do something a little bit odd. I was cleaning up the back room when they called me out. The customer sitting in the chair was a regular. She was one of our most flamboyant and bright customers. I remember every time she came in because it was like she brought a party with her wherever she went. When I walked up she greeted me as usual with a "hello dear" and a wink. My boss took me aside and told me that she had to go out for just a moment and get a stack of invoices that he had forgotten at his house down the street. He told me he needed me to help this woman with something I hadn't done before. Before she gets her haircut here, she always gets her nails, feet, and skin done by professionals. She had missed her facial appointment today and needed use to apply her eyelash extensions for her. I was a bit confused, I didn't know what eyelash extensions, or falsh eyelashes, were. He explained to me what the lash extensions were and showed me the eyeylash adhesive glue. After he left I put out all of the lashes on his tray and the eyelash adhesive. I did the whole job from beginning to end and she even tipped me when the job was done. That was the first and last time I ever had to do that and I really don't have any desire to work at a place like that again, even though putting on the lashes was kind of fun.
